The main frame of the Doc sofa bed is a combination of tempered tubular steel with tulip wood side panels designed to take a weight up to 150kg. The base of the bed is also made of wooden beech slats for added comfort. The principal reasons for the ‘user-friendly’ nature of this stylish piece of multifunction furniture are the use of gas pistons to make light work of opening and folding the bed, and the additional use of gaskets to allow everything to fall easily and smoothly into place during folding/unfolding.
